Editing, versions, and hiding
How to update a live pattern with a new version, and how to hide it from the store.
Editing a live pattern
- 1
Edit the Paper
The first time you edit a live Paper, you'll be asked to confirm. People who have it keep seeing the approved version until the new one passes.
- 2
Open the new version request
Tap “Submit new version” in the bar above the Paper, or open the pattern from Manage store.
- 3
Describe the changes and submit
Write what changed (e.g. “fixed stitch count in row 3”) and tap “Submit new version”.
During review, the store keeps showing the current version. Once approved, everyone who has the pattern sees the new version. If it's rejected, the current version stays live.
Can't be changed after publishing
- The linked Paper
- The craft (crochet or knitting)
Hiding from the store
In Manage store, open the pattern's more menu and tap “Hide from store”. People who already have it can still open it. Tap “Show again” to undo.
Deleting
- Only draft or rejected patterns can be deleted.
- A Paper that's on Atelier can't be deleted. Hide it from the store first.
- Once someone has a pattern, its source Paper can't be deleted, so they keep access.
If sales were stopped
Our team may stop a pattern that breaks the rules. You'll see the reason on the listing screen. Fix it and request review for a new version; once approved, it goes live again.
